These included events like the Anglo—French intervention in Mexico (1861-62); the Paraguayan War o f 1865-70, in which Paraguay fought the Triple Alliance o f Argentina, Brazil and U ruguay; the Pacific War o f 1879-83 between Peru, Bolivia and Chile; the Chilean Civil War o f 1891; the A nglo-G erm an blockade o f Venezuela in 1902-03; the Mexican Revolution; and the Argentine coup o f 1930.
