Wolford concludes that the MST is not a coherent movement with a homogenous identity and strategy. Even so, Worlford recognizes the transformative political character of the movement. Without doubt, Wolford’s analysis of the MST is a highly sophisticated and nuanced piece of scholarship. However, it has two main weaknesses.
